Aston Martin has a long history of automotive excellence which can be found in every element of the brand, from the design and performance of the vehicles built in Gaydon to the customer experience and ownership privileges. This week, Aston Martin opened the doors to the future of the brand and launched a new era built around the concepts of Intensity. Driven., a new brand expression which celebrates the emotional attachment and experience of driving an Aston Martin.


This new era is highlighted by the iconic wings emblem found on every Aston Martin which will receive a new contemporary update that will be featured on the next generation of Aston Martin sportscars. In simple terms, Aston Martin is launching a comprehensive evolution of its brand, its message, its philosophy, and its visual expression. Of course, the core DNA that serves as the building blocks for every Aston Martin vehicle will be preserved. Enthusiast may notice, however, that it also enhanced.


Perhaps the most telling symbol of the new era beginning at Aston Martin are the new iconic wings which have received an updated design courtesy of the artisans in Birmingham’s jewelry quarter. The new wings are hand-crafted at Vaughtons studio which designed and created the Football Association Cup and the medals for the 1908 London Olympics.


The new emblem will be featured on the Aston Martin Aramco Cognizant F1 racing cars competing in the upcoming French Grand Prix, marking the 100th anniversary of Aston Martin’s first Grand Prix entry. 


The wings will then be featured on a range of new upcoming Aston Martin supercars.

The new Intensity. Driven. philosophy is meant to highlight the emotional and often intense link between driver and car.
