A look at the impressive Aston Martin DBX
Aston Martin entered the SUV market a few years ago with a new model that excels in the areas of luxury and performance while retaining the brand's signature classic style. The Aston Martin DBX is both powerful and elegant, with its long, sculpted hood concealing a proven, refined, and very powerful powertrain. In the end, there's nothing about the traditional Aston Martin performance and overall experience you have to give up to get the spaciousness and versatility as well as the all-weather capability of an SUV.
In the end, there's nothing about the traditional Aston Martin performance and overall experience you have to give up to get the spaciousness and versatility as well as the all-weather capability of an SUV.
The DBX is Aston Martin's first vehicle to be built with year-round usability in mind. Unlike other Aston Martin products, the DBX can be driven year-round in Quebec, and not only is it a lot of fun to drive in the snow, but it also has the ability to venture into the woods or on a dirt road as well. It takes the Aston Martin DNA to places no other Aston Martin could venture.
A state-of-the-art AWD system
The heart and soul of the DBX is a powerful 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 that delivers 542 hp and 516 lb-ft of torque. Going from zero to one hundred kilometres per hour takes only five seconds, and things get even crazier in the all-new DBX 707 version. The latter pumps out nearly 700 horsepower with 663 pound-feet of torque delivered at under 3,000 RPM. That makes the Aston Martin DBX 707 one of the most powerful SUVs on the market today. It has more power than the Lamborghini Urus by quite a margin at the very least.
Regardless of the model, the all-wheel drive system can distribute power efficiently for the conditions, and the nine-speed dual-clutch transmission ensures that power from the engine reaches all four wheels efficiently. The new gearbox delivers both smooth shifts when cruising, but it can also quickly move up and down the gears with lightning quickness when needed.
The DBX's all-wheel drive system can transmit as much as 100 percent of the engine's output to the rear axle, where it is then split between the individual wheels. This means unparalleled traction on any surface, whether wet or dry. It also means that when you are pushing the DBX through corners, you will be reminded of how other Aston Martin models like the Vantage feel.
When venturing off-road, you may boost the DBX's ground clearance by up to 5 cm with the help of different driving modes including Terrain and Terrain Plus.
The Aston Martin DBX is an amazing SUV because of its state-of-the-art features, supercar-like acceleration, high degree of interior luxury, and outstanding capability in any weather or terrain. Experience the first Aston Martin that can take on the coming months without sacrificing luxury by trying out the brand new DBX today.
