Vanquish Returns as Aston Martin's Fastest Production Car

Aston Martin has revealed its highly anticipated new Vanquish model, marking the return of the legendary nameplate as the brand's ultimate front-engined sports car. Set to arrive in late 2024, the new Vanquish boasts unprecedented performance and luxury.


At the heart of the Vanquish is a newly developed 5.2-litre twin-turbocharged V12 engine producing a staggering 835 PS and 1000 Nm of torque. This powerplant propels the Vanquish to a top speed of 345 km/h, making it the fastest series production Aston Martin to date.


The engine features significant upgrades, including a strengthened cylinder block, redesigned cylinder heads, and advanced turbochargers. A new Boost Reserve function enhances throttle response and overtaking performance. Valvoline has supplied a high-performance engine oil to optimize temperature regulation and pressure maintenance.


Chassis and handling improvements are equally impressive. The Vanquish's wheelbase has been extended by 80mm, contributing to a 75% increase in lateral stiffness compared to its predecessor. New Bilstein DTX dampers and an electronic rear differential work in concert with Carbon Ceramic Brakes and Electric Power Assisted Steering to deliver precise handling and feedback.


Visually, the Vanquish showcases a bold evolution of Aston Martin's design language. Key exterior features include a sculpted bonnet with F1-inspired cooling louvres, a distinctive Kamm tail for improved aerodynamics, and a panoramic glass roof. The interior combines driver-focused ergonomics with luxurious materials and advanced technology, including a new infotainment system with online connectivity.


Production will be limited to fewer than 1,000 units annually, with first deliveries scheduled for Q4 2024. Aston Martin Executive Chairman Lawrence Stroll stated, "Vanquish makes an emphatic statement. One that further delivers on our mission to create the most potent, most beautiful and most exciting cars in the ultra-luxury sports car market."
