For two years now, Aston Martin has offered a sport utility vehicle, the DBX. The DBX arrived in a bit of a controversy, as some people weren't keen on the idea of Aston Martin offering an SUV.

To think that Aston Martin would only offer a vulgar SUV is to misunderstand the company. With the DBX, all of the company's expertise has been put to work and the result is spectacular, both visually and in terms of performance.

When the model debuted, only one version was offered. Let's call it the base version, except that you'll have understood that at Aston Martin, any basic proposition is more solid than anything that is considered high luxury elsewhere.


Thus, the entry-level model of the DBX family is the V8-powered version. Under the hood, then, is a 4.0-liter turbocharged block, which offers 542 horsepower and 516 pound-feet of torque. That's enough to get you from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.5 seconds.


On board, the presentation is spectacular and the richness of the materials is of course in keeping with the standards set by the brand. Behind the wheel, the experience is divine, whether it's the performance, the acceleration, the incredible sound of the V8 or the soundproofing, which is simply extraordinary.


In fact, this model has everything to seduce you. However, if you want a little more, Aston Martin has the solution for you with the DBX707 version.

Launched last year, this variant takes the winning formula of the base version, but puts it back on all levels, especially in terms of power. In fact, the same V8 engine, with different adjustments, offers 697 horsepower and 662 lb-ft of torque, which this time allows a 0-100 km/h time of 3.3 seconds, which is absolutely exceptional.


Of course, when it comes to equipment, it's even more complete, as the DBX707 represents the ultimate in Aston Martin.
